Inclusive Green Growth Award for Land and Houses

On March 18, 2024, Mr. Watcharin Kasinrerk, Managing Director, represented Land and Houses Plc in accepting an Inclusive Green Growth Award at the Inclusive Green Growth Day Empowered by SCG event, organized by the Cement and Green Solution Business (CGS) of SCG (Siam Cement Group). Recognizing leading organizations, this award was a token of SCG’s gratitude for collectively forging a green construction industry through choosing eco-friendly products in the cement & concrete group and green solutions in pursuit of the Net Zero goal. This joint declaration marked Thailand’s first between a leading real-estate company and SCG in their stride toward a low-carbon society.

Constantly, Land and Houses values various environmental stewardship moves. Besides choosing eco-friendly products, its assorted corporate policies aim at environmental impact mitigation, including the use of electric motorbikes at project sites to consume clean energy instead of oil fuels, termination of plastic water bottles and cups at project sites and Head Office, and a campaign for employees to donate used articles for others’ use to cut waste volumes. The company also secured a Carbon Footprint for Organization (CFO) label, which signifies its commitment and value given to greenhouse gas reduction.

An SCG ally with a shared goal of driving the construction industry toward zero greenhouse gas emission, Land and Houses is convinced that if all organizations are convinced of their readiness and equipped with clear-cut business directions, they would successfully ease impacts of climate change while safeguarding natural resources, thus driving Thailand toward a low-carbon society and establishing a sustainable green society.
