Eco-Friendly Certificate for Land and Houses

On March 25, 2024, Ms. Suparat Veerakul, Senior Vice President, Corporate Communication, represented Land and Houses Plc in accepting an Eco-Friendly Certificate from Mr. Dhanant Subhadrabandhu, Chief Executive Officer, Thailand Post Company Limited, at the "Delivery of Happiness and Love" event. The event signified the delivery of "tangible cartons of love" to agencies working for the handicapped under the "reBOX" Ep. 4 campaign, of which Land and Houses is a partner. To elaborate, employees are urged to collect and donate second-hand cartons and envelopes to Thailand Post on behalf of Land and Houses to forward to SCG Packaging Plc, which recycles them into "tangible cartons of love" for conversion by the handicapped into usable articles for social and environmental benefit. These cartons, representing essential articles for the handicapped, are donated to the Universal Foundation for Persons with Disabilities, the Thailand Association of the Blind, the Thai Association of the Blind Community, and the Association of the Physically Handicapped of Thailand. For the past four years, the reBOX project has collected and recycled over 530,000 kilograms of second-hand cartons, envelopes, and paper. Privileged to be part of this campaign over the past two years, Land and Houses has continually participated by jointly donating second-hand cartons and envelopes for recycling for value regeneration, consistent with the Circular Economy. This represents a more creative passage of surplus paper from mere sale and improper disposal.
