Mr. Wit Tantiworawong, Managing Director, Land and Houses Plc (right), recently received a 2023 Carbon Footprint Certificate from Mr. Kiatchai Maitriwong, Executive Director, Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) (TGO). The presentation coincided with Land and Houses’s winning of the Carbon Footprint for Organization (CFO) emblem.
CFO denotes the volume of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from a given organization’s activities, including fuel combustion, power consumption, waste management, and transportation. Measured in tons of carbon dioxide equivalent, it represents the total volume of GHG emissions from direct and indirect activities of the organization. CFO knowledge enables one to group significant causes of GHG emission, leading to the formulation of GHG management approaches as well as GHG reduction measures for the organization’s drive toward a low-carbon entity.
Land and Houses Plc is firmly committed to the drive toward GHG reduction to showcase its social responsibility, specifically its attention to global warming and climate change. We believe this responsibility leads ultimately to sustainable management and reduction of GHG emissions.
